Mission
Research in the Ultrasound Research Laboratory is dedicated to pioneering innovative ultrasound technologies that can enhance the detection, monitoring, and treatment of various medical conditions, with a particular focus on cancer and chronic liver disease. Our research interests include:
- Developing biomedical technologies to address complex healthcare challenges in both animal and human patients
- Advancing portable ultrasound technology for faster diagnoses and enhanced patient care
- Investigating multiparametric ultrasound methods for monitoring disease progression and response to treatment
Open Positions
Two NIH-funded Postdoctoral Research Associate positions are available to support innovative projects focused on (1) advancing multiparametric ultrasound imaging techniques for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease, and (2) developing multifrequency ultrasound imaging methods for monitoring breast cancer response to chemotherapy. Ideal candidates will thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting, demonstrate strong initiative and leadership in advancing their research, and possess a PhD with a background in ultrasound research. These are full-time positions for 12 months initially, with the potential for extension. To apply, please send your CV/resume to Dr. Hoyt at hoyt@tamu.edu.
